“Follow the child” – What does this mean?

We will be discussing what it means to be following the child in Montessori and how this common terminology can sometimes be misunderstood. We will be discussing two points which will help you follow the child to find out where they are at developmentally and what their interests are. Secondly allowing you to take a step back to give them the freedom they deserve but also allowing them to understand the limits that this freedom exists in.
